The history of OVEM Srl
The precision mechanical workshop OVEM Srl "Officine Venete Elettro Meccaniche" it was founded in the mid-1960s by the collaboration of four teachers from various technical institutes in the Venetian area. Electro mechanics because one of the first and most important works was to repair ENEL flooded counters in 1966.
In the course of the years, OVEM Srl has established itself increasingly in the precision mechanics sector, responding to the needs of countless factories in Porto Marghera, particularly in the construction and construction of molds for the refractory sector and maintenance of energy and petrochemical plants.
The Great Changes
It was at the beginning of the 1990s that the first major change took place: the founding members decided to withdraw and transfer the company to other shareholders, including some former employees. The workshop continues its activity for a short time within the old headquarters of Mestre, subsequently deciding to move to its current headquarters in Mogliano Veneto, investing in new generation CNC machines in order to increase the company's production capacity. .
The second change occurred in 2008, when it was associated with B & V Service Srl. This company specialized in services, was able to manage, using leading partners in their field, special processing and treatments. To cope with the increase in the amount of work, the production area and the area used for assembly doubled.
All our machines are currently supported by a technical office which, thanks to the always up-to-date CAD / CAM programming stations, accurately manages even the most complex and precise work processes. The OVEM mechanical workshop is able to satisfy any customer's need in the precision engineering sector.
